Thumbs remember the old key positions. Clink’s answer is to move the keys: height, width, spacing, and roundness are all adjustable. Used a number row before? Turn it on in Keys.

How to switch
Install Clink from the App Store, add it under iOS Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards, then hold the globe key in any app and choose Clink.
Optional: allow Full Access for haptics, clipboard history, and custom sounds. Everything else works without it.
